MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Chamberlain ties career high as Cards extend win streak

For the second time this season outside attacker Todd Chamberlain tied his career high in kills during a match.

Chamberlain had a match-high 20 kills as the No. 15 Ball State University men's volleyball team defeated Grand Canyon University 30-20, 30-23, 27-30, 30-12 on Saturday in Phoenix.

This is the third time in his career Chamberlain had 20 kills in a match. The all-conference player had 20 kills in a 2007 match against Ohio State University and in a three-game loss against then-No. 4 Stanford University to open this season.

With this win, the Cardinals (9-4, 4-0 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) extend their winning streak to eight matches.

Ball State will conclude its two-match series against Grand Canyon (2-17) at 4 p.m. Sunday in Phoenix.
