The Ball State University men's volleyball team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the newest coaches poll released Monday afternoon.
The Cardinals received 34 votes - 13 more votes than in last week's poll - to remain ranked for the second consecutive week.
Ball State (10-4, 4-0 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) defeated Grand Canyon University twice during the weekend to extend its winning streak to nine matches.
Ball State is one of three MIVA teams to be ranked in this week's poll. Lewis University moved down one spot to No. 10 after losing twice to No. 5 Stanford University, and Ohio State University dropped two spots to No. 15 following a loss to Juniata College, a Division III team.
The Cardinals next match will be against the Buckeyes on Wednesday in Columbus, Ohio.
