The Ball State University women's basketball team lost to Bowling Green State University 76-67 Tuesday in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Despite shooting 45.9 percent from the field, Ball State had 21 turnovers in the loss - 10 more turnovers than Bowling Green (19-2, 8-0 Mid-American Conference).
Each team had three players finish with at least 10 points.
Forward Emily Maggert had a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double in the Cardinals' last seven games. In addition, forward Danielle Gratton had 17 points and guard Kiley Jarrett had 10 points.
Guard Audrey McDonald was held to a season-low three points in 29 minutes of play.
Midway through the second half McDonald made contact with a Bowling Green player and hit her head on the court. She was removed to the locker room and did not play in the rest of the game.
Ball State (14-7, 6-2 MAC) entered this game against the MAC East first-place Bowling Green having won seven of its last eight games.
