Phi Delta Theta members raised around $300 for Muncie Mission and their house fund from a date auction at the Art Museum.
The members raised $300 for their housing fund and donated $20 and 22 canned goods to Muncie Mission, Philanthropy Chair Randy Thomas said.
Thomas said 42 people in the audience bidded on 20 Phi members.
He said there was a lot of "booty shaking." The crowd requested two members who were not part of the auction to be auctioned off as a single unit, Thomas said.
"I surprised everyone at the end by auctioning myself off after emceeing the whole event," Thomas said.
He said there weren't too many big dates but thought a few people had dates to formal now.
"The intent wasn't to create a relationship," Thomas said. " But if that happens then that is a plus."
He said the main objective was for people to have a good time and collect donations for Muncie Mission.
