The Ball State University women's basketball team defeated Western Kentucky University 72-71 in overtime Saturday night.
The victory is Ball State's first on the road. The Cardinals have a 6-3 record for the season.
Guard Kiley Jarret had the game winning layup with 0.7 seconds remaining in overtime. Ball State trailed Western Kentucky 29-37 at halftime.
Guard Porchia Green led the team in scoring with 20 points.
Ball State will play Temple University at 7 p.m. on Monday at Worthen Arena.
