Ball State University's Public Relations Student Society of America is having an "All Things Baby Drive" through Nov. 21.
PRSSA fund-raising chair Ashley Cashen said Christian Ministries Food Pantry has a shortage of important supplies such as diapers and baby wipes.
PRSSA placed drop boxes in the Learning Center, the Cardinal Communications office and other buildings around campus in the main offices, she said.
The group scheduled the drive near Thanksgiving because people are usually willing to donate during the holiday season, she said.
The pantry needs size 3-4 diapers, canned foods, baby shampoo, baby lotion and wipes.
Cashen said she was hoping to gather as much as possible so mothers didn't have to wait on vital products for their children.
"I encourage all students to donate at least one item," she said. "Anything will help."
