The Cardinals also trailed 3-0 at Indiana University before taking a 7-3 lead and never trailing again.

- Lewis rushed for a career-high 177 yards at Central Michigan and now has 1,450 rushing yards this season. He has compiled the 12th 1,000-yard rushing season in Ball State history. He is the eighth player in school history to have logged a 1,000-yard campaign.

- Lewis has 17 rushing touchdowns this season, which is the second-highest single-season total in Ball State history. His 17 total touchdowns is also the second best in school history.
- Daniel Ifft caught his third touchdown reception this season at Central Michigan and the fourth of his career.
- Louis caught his fourth touchdown reception this season at Central Michigan and the ninth of his career. It is also marked the second two-touchdown reception game of his career.
