One week after dropping out of the top 15 BCS Standings, the Ball State University football team has moved right back in them.
The Cardinals moved up two spots to No. 15 in the newest BCS Standings released Sunday night.
The BCS Standings are comprised of the Harris Poll, the Coaches Poll and six computer polls.
Ball State (11-0, 7-0 Mid-American Conference) was ranked the highest in the Harris Poll at No. 14 - moving up one spot from last week.
In the Coaches Poll, Ball State received 673 votes - 60 more votes than last week - and moved up one spot to No. 15. The Cardinals were ranked No. 17 in the computer polls.
These increases in the polls come the same week Ball State defeated Central Michigan University 31-24 to clinch at least a share of the MAC West Division regular season title.
In the standings, Ball State moved ahead of Brigham Young University and Michigan State University, which both lost this weekend.
This is the second-highest ranking for the Cardinals this season. Ball State was ranked No. 14 two weeks ago, before dropping three spots in last week's standings.
Also, in this week's Associated Press Poll, Ball State was unable to maintain its No. 14 ranking.
The Cardinals dropped one spot to No. 15 in the AP Poll released Sunday afternoon. Ball State received 731 votes - 17 more votes than last week - following its 31-24 road win against Central Michigan University on Wednesday.
Texas Christian University moved ahead of Ball State to No. 14. The Horned Frogs (10-2), receiving 91 more votes this week, concluded their regular season Saturday with a 34-point win against Air Force.
In addition to the AP Poll, the Horned Frogs jumped three spots to surpassed the Cardinals in this week's Coaches Poll.
Western Michigan University received 20 votes and is listed at No. 30 in the Coaches Poll.
The Cardinals will play the Broncos in their final regular season game 7 p.m. Tuesday at Scheumann Stadium. If Ball State wins this game it will advance to the MAC Championship Game and play the University at Buffalo.
With a win Tuesday, Ball State would also become the first team in program history to finish a regular season undefeated since 1965.
