The Ball State University women's tennis team will not have a tournament this weekend due to the lack of participants.
Coach Kathy Bull decided earlier this week to cancel the match scheduled for the weekend due to the withdraw of one of the expected teams, thus concluding the fall season for women's tennis.
Bull said that the players might compete in a joint tournament on the weekend of Nov. 15, which the United States Tennis Association and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association will play host to. This tournament is not solely a collegiate event, but open to collegiate athletes, junior players and other amateurs.
