With a beautiful atmosphere and a completely blue sky on Think Pink Weekend, the Ball State University soccer team from Ball State came back home with a 2-0 win against Ohio University.Coming off a pair of losses to Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo, the Cardinals led their victory by Emily Rein when she scored the first goal early in the game in the fourth minute. The Cardinals' persistence gave them their second goal by a corner kick to the second post from Jen Vilkoski where Megan Ridley headed off right next to the post leaving Jess MacLean without any opportunity to avoid it.The Cardinals then tied tied the University of Akron 2-2 Sunday during their senior day.Ball State had 66 shots on the weekend, including a program record 36 Friday.Ball State improved to 8-7-1 overall and 4-3-1 in Mid American Conference with the weekend's results.
