In memory of Ball State University student Travis Smith, Smith's family had a block party in his honor Saturday.
The money raised from the party will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club in Terre Haute.
Smith died after a traffic accident at about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27, 2007 on Riverside Avenue. Smith was a member of the men's golf team for Ball State.
