WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Roller leaves Ball State

Almost one year after receiving a contract making her the highest paid coach at Ball State University, Tracy Roller will no longer be coaching the Cardinals women's basketball team.

The Ball State athletic department announced Wednesday Tracy Roller has resigned as a head coach for personal reasons.

"Tracy has been an important part of the Ball State family for [the] past nine years and I am sad to see her go," Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Tom Collins said. "She has represented Ball State with nothing but class and has inspired the best out of her student-athletes."

Roller has been the women's basketball head coach for the last seven season, and accumulated a 118-73 record.

In March 2007 she received a four-year $728,000 contract.
