Ball State University students will be tested on their ability to defy the laws of physics from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bell Tower.
In its second year, the Red Bull Gravity Challenge will ask teams of up to three participants to test their homemade landing machine on an egg, which is to survive a 50-foot drop. To receive the maximum points, teams must land the egg and machine safely in the landing zone.
Three celebrity judges also will judge contestants on creativity and originality behind their machines.
