Ball State University guard Peyton Stovall was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week Monday.
Stovall earned the honor after scoring a career-high 37 points in the Cardinals' first win of the season against IPFW on Dec. 31, along with nine rebounds and a career-high five steals. He also scored 18 points in Ball State's conference-opening loss to the University of Toledo.
