The Ball State University women's soccer team (1-1, 0-0 Mid-American Conference) fell out of the Soccerbuzz.com regional rankings Tuesday.
The Cardinals were ranked 13th in the Great Lakes Region when the pre-season poll was released August 14. There are 55 teams in the region.
Ball State won its season opener against IPFW 5-1 Friday and lost to Butler University 2-1 Sunday.
Ball State and Bowling Green State University (1-1, 0-0 MAC) both received votes in the poll but neither team was ranked in the top 15.
Ball State was the lone school to fall out of the top 15 in the Great Lakes Region. Wright State University (2-0) moved into the No. 15 spot after being previously unranked.
The Cardinals will play this weekend at the Florida Atlantic University Kickoff Classic against FAU and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
