Ball State University's Department of Theatre and Dance will have a new production "Going to St. Ives" by Lee Blessing at 7:30 p.m. in the Art and Communication Building.
The production answers the question, "In a world of black and white, where does one draw the line of gray?"
Bill Jenkins, director and chairman of the Department of Theatre and Dance, said the show deals with issues that are happening today.
"For me the play is about how we are responding to the issues that are happening around the world and what we can do to change it," he said. "This production really shows the power of what one person can do to make a change," said Jenkins.
"Going to St. Ives" explores the lives of two women faced with decisions that challenge both their safety and morality. A British optometrist and the mother of an African tyrant join together in St. Ives, where they find that they can help one another but not without a struggle.
Admission is $6.50 for students and $8.50 for the general public.
