Cooper Physical Science Building's basement will be closed until at least 6 p.m. tonight because of a chemical spill.
Ball State University Police said after the spill is cleaned up, the building will need time to ventilate before it is safe.
Graduate Assistant Michelle Tolle said she was cleaning a room where chemicals were stored when one of the other two people in the room spilled a four-liter bottle of ammonium hydroxide and paradichlorabenzyne, which is noxious.
