The pornographic film that stirred controversy on the Ball State University campus during Spring Semester is now available in Muncie. "The Vampire Diaries Vol. 1: Night Class," which includes scenes filmed on campus, became available at Priscilla's adult novelty store early last week.
Priscilla's sales representative Tom Beversdorf said the store has sold "two or three" of the 50 copies dropped off by director Christopher Gregory. In 2002, Joe Trimmer, director of the Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry, gave Gregory permission to film in the VBC without knowing the film's content would be pornographic. In February, Gregory said five Ball State students and one faculty member appeared in the film.
"Vampire Diaries," which was filmed in fall 2004, features x-rated pornographic scenes filmed in the VBC and what appears to be an apartment complex, and a non-pornographic scene filmed in North Quad.
The Priscilla's list price of the film is $39.95.
