WOMEN'S TENNIS: BSU to play MAC leader WMU

Cards on two-match losing streak, 1-3 in conference play

It has been a rough start to the Mid-American Conference season for the Ball State University women's tennis team.

After dropping two matches last weekend, the Cardinals (6-10, 1-3 MAC) hit the road for matches against conference leader Western Michigan University Friday and Bowling Green State University Saturday.

The Broncos (14-6, 3-0 MAC) are ranked 62nd in the nation by the FILA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

None of the Western Michigan players have a losing record, while only Emma Retter (9-6) and Christine Stromberg (12-4) boast winning percentages above .500.

Bowling Green (10-5, 2-1 MAC) has reached the 10-win plateau for the fifth consecutive season.-รก
