Ball State University men's basketball coach Ronny Thompson has awarded the final scholarship for next year's basketball team.
Zack Garcia, a 6-foot-8-inch, 250-pound center from St. Thomas More School, signed with the Cardinals Tuesday.
Garcia, who is from La Crescenta, Calif., is the third recruit from California to sign with the Cardinals this spring. The other two are Ahmaad Cook from Inglewood, Calif. and Micah Rollin from Long Beach,Calif.
St. Thomas More is a college preparatory school located in Oakdale, Conn.
No statistical information for Garcia could be found.
The other three players who have signed are Jarelle Redden and Steve Horton from Cincinnati State Technical College, and Rashuan McLemore from Mt. Zion Christian Academy in Richmond, Va.
