A man is in custody after being caught in the Ball State University Bookstore just after closing Tuesday night, University Police say.
Police responded to a triggered alarm in the store, located in the Art and Journalism Building, and found a man hiding in the store. Police say they found a knife on the suspect, whose name is not yet available.
Officers on the scene say it did not appear as if anything had been stolen from the store, adding that, depending on further confirmation, the suspect will be charged with either burglary or trespassing.
