After finishing 12th place in its first tournament, the women's golf team rebounded and finished second at the Butler Spring Invitational.
The team had an overall score of 662, just two strokes shy of the top spot.
Junior Julie Harder won the individual title with a par of 79 on the par-72 course. Her total of 158 was three strokes better then the next finisher.
Katie Sundberg had rounds of 83 and 81 to finish in a tie for fourth place with her 164 score. Amber Uphaus and Chelsie Flannery also finished in the top 15. Uphaus had a score of 170 and finished in a tie for 10th and Flannery finished 14th with a score of 172.
Also competing for the Cardinals were Ali Meyer, who finished 26th with a score of 181.
The men's golf B team also competed at the event. Senior Lance Scholl finished in a tie for fifth with rounds of 75 and 77. Sophomore Andy Skillman tied for sixth overall with rounds of 78 and 75.
