Matt Laramore was Mid-American Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday, marking the seventh time in nine weeks a Ball State player has been honored.
The senior helped Ball State to a pair of 7-0 wins Friday over No. 52 Michigan State and MAC opponent IPFW. He defeated MSU's Cameron Marshall 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and teamed with Brad Rhodes for an 8-3 win in No. 2 doubles. Against IPFW Laramore won 6-2, 6-1 in singles play.
Matt Baccarani, Klint Knable and Paul Newman are other BSU players who have been named Player of the Week this year.
