Ball State's gymnastics season may be finished for the team, but one player will continue to perform for the Cardinals.
Senior Jessica Surridge has qualified for regionals in the solo all-around performance. Her consistently high scores allowed her to become the only Cardinal to advance to regionals.
Surridge will join athletes from other Mid-American Conference schools in the Central Region competition at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. Surridge has been the most consistent member of the Cardinals, regularly leading the Cardinals on the vault and beam.
The top two all-around performers who are not members of a qualifying team and the winners of any individual events will advance to nationals.
