Women's track continues torrid schedule
Since the Ball State women's indoor track team started their season on January 15, it has been nonstop. Every week has brought another chance to fine tune for the MAC Championships and then the outdoor season. This week BSU travels to Notre Dame to compete in the Meyo Invitational.
Coach Sue Parks saw her team place 13 individual top-three performances at last week's Ohio State Invitational. Even though the meet didn't have a total team score, that high number is a good indicator as to where the Cardinals are right now in their training.
The 15th annual Meyo Invitational has featured some truly great performances over the year, which sets the bar high for this year's edition. The meet begins with field events at 5 p.m. today. Saturday will be the sprint trials and finals. The famed "Meyo Mile" is scheduled as the last event of the meet.
