LETTER: Hoosiers deserve more than Kernan's current track record

Since Joe Kernan stepped into office just twelve months ago, Ihave been waiting for answers; answers about how he was going tofix Indiana and answers about what he was doing as Lt. Governorwhen our great state slipped into one of the worst economicpictures in the country. In a recently released document he calls"Action Indiana," the Governor has put forth no new or novel ideasof how to jump start our economy and put Hoosiers back to work ingood paying jobs. Perhaps more insulting, he offers no explanationas to why he did not implement any of his proposals as Lt.Governor.

As head of the state's commerce agency, Governor Kernan wassituated to make many of these changes. One can only presume fromhis inaction that these are pre-election promises or that he wassimply asleep at the wheel when he was in the driver's seat. Eitherway, Hoosiers deserve more.
