Forum lets students discuss concerns

The Student Government Association executive board will have itsfirst public forum at 6:30 p.m. today in Teachers College room101.

Ben Tietz, SGA president, said the forum was meant to providestudents with a chance to ask the executive board about any topicsthat concern them.

The forum, which will last an hour, also gives students theopportunity to present problems and solutions to problems, Tietzsaid.

Students may come and go at any time during the forum.

"If nobody's there, we will be there until 7:30," Tietzsaid.

Tietz's slate campaigned on the forums, which are supposed totake place once a month.

Tietz said he created the idea of the forums after hearingcomplaints that SGA members were not accessible to students.
