Chicago Tribune Sports Editor to speak Tuesday

Sports Editor for the Chicago Tribune's RedEye will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Arts and Journalism Building room 175.

Michael Kellams, Ball State alumnus, will also visit journalism classes and meet with students through out the week.

Students can sign up to meet with Kellams by calling the journalism department at 285-8200.

Kellams joined the Chicago Tribune staff in 1998 as associate design editor. He became a founding editor and designer for the newspaper's special edition focusing on younger readers, RedEye, in 2002.

Kellams has been a team member of three Pulitzer Prize-winning articles. He has won nearly 40 awards from the Society of News Design.
