Three professionals will join Ball State's Newslink Indiana project, including Indianapolis' WRTV-6 reporter Chris Bavender.
Bavender will anchor a nightly television news broadcast as a part of BSU's news coverage of East Central Indiana.
She will join Wright Bryan, web news editor, and Tim Underhill, production manager.
Before joining Newslink earlier this year, Bryan worked as a writer, editor and producer at CNN Interactive in Atlanta.
Underhill, a 1984 BSU graduate who also joined Newslink earlier this year, had worked for the university's Office of University Communications since 1990.
Newslink Indiana is a product of the university's $4 million digital journalism-convergence initiative.
The program is financed through the $20 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.
