Ball State's Miller College of Business has established a newendowed scholarship fund for students majoring in accounting orfinance.
The Michael K. Troyer Scholarship has been added in memory ofthe former Elkhart resident who died Sept. 5, 2002 from a ruptureddissecting aortic aneurysm.
Troyer was a graduate from Ball State in 1993 with a bachelor'sdegree in accounting.
While at Ball State, Troyer was a member of Beta Theta Pifraternity.
Troyer worked as an accounting manager for American Invasco, aChicago-based condominuim development company.
He was the father of twin sons and the husband of Cynthia S. VanOrsdoll.
