Appointments for the digital rectal exams can be scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for Sept. 15.
PSA blood tests will be available at a discounted cost if needed.
According to the American Cancer Society, an American male finds out he has prostate cancer every three minutes, while one in three men will have cancer of the prostate gland.
Annual cancer screenings are recommended for men over 40, while the biggest risk factors are age and race.
Complete recovery is possible when prostate cancer is detected early, Ball Hospital said in a recent press release.
