Muncie Police and Delaware County SWAT Team and Drug Task Force raided two houses in separate incidents Thursday night.
Adrian White, 18, 2508 N. Maplewood Ave., was arrested around 11:15 p.m. on charges of buying and selling crack cocaine out of his home, said Jesse Neal, city director of the Drug Task Force. White was found with cocaine and U.S. currency, Neal said. The amount of cocaine and money was unknown at presstime.
Officers have been investigating White since the beginning of the year and have made at least two undercover controlled purchases at White's residence, said Mark McKinney, Delaware County prosecutor.
White had a history of violence and was known to carry firearms, Delaware County Sheriff George Sheridan said.
In an unrelated incident, Lakeshia Y. Price,1001 West First St., was arrested around 10:30 p.m. on charges of possession and was found with half an ounce of cocaine. She has been arrested four or five times in the past for possession, Neal said.
