"Big" Al "White Lightning" Hughes is back in the boxing ring again Wednesday, July 24 in a fight featured in the fair.
The Delaware Co. fair will include a King of the Ring venue, presented by Crabtree Entertainment, for the first time. The event will include 21 fights, mostly local to Muncie and Delaware Co.
The King of the Ring with feature a co-main event. Al Hughes, Ball State alumnus, will be fighting Jim Hayes from Indianapolis. The other main event fight will include the promoter himself Richard Crabtree against Ron Curry of Lapel.
The fights will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Ringside seats are $25 each, and general admission is $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
