The upcoming women's basketball season will begin in the Women's National Invitation Tournament against Kansas State.
"I am extremely excited for our kids to have the opportunity to participate in the WNIT and to play such a well-respected program like Kansas State," head coach Tracy Roller said.
The 2002 WNIT will include Bucknell, Colorado State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Northern Arizona, Penn State, San Francisco, Siena <- include a state with this one - Jordan ->, South Alabama, Southern California, Southwest Missouri State, Syracuse, Tulsa and UNC-Charlotte.
"Our team is already looking forward to the match-up and the atmosphere that the community and fans of Kansas State will undoubtedly bring into this event," Roller said.
