The Mid-American conference awarded the Ball State women's athletics program with the Jacoby Trophy Friday.
The trophy is awarded to the school with the six highest finishes in 12 women's sports in which MAC sponsors the championships. The three women's sports that must be included in the count are basketball, volleyball and softball.
Ball State, Bowling Green and Western Michigan are the only schools who have won three Jacoby trophies.
The Cards received points with its first place gymnastics team, co-champion basketball team, second place cross country and volleyball teams and third place indoor track and softball teams.
Kent State came in second followed by Ohio and Eastern Michigan tied for third.
