Letter to the editor: American Advertising Federation member proud

Dear editor:

This letter is in response to the article that was written about the Ball State Chapter of the American Advertising Federation. In Wednesday's edition of the Daily News I was quoted out of context speaking about the past weekend NSAC competition in Detroit. First, I am very proud of our second place finish in Detroit.

There are 11 other schools that would have gladly taken our place. I do feel our work was first-place material, but that is not the way things worked out. We still have the opportunity to go to Miami and present on the national level. AAF has allowed me the opportunity to meet some of the finest people at Ball State.

This experience has been one of the best I have had in college. This project was nine months worth of hard work and dedication. I would never try to undermine any of the work that was done this year. I feel I was portrayed as bitter about our finish, but I am very proud of AAF, and I am more proud of our team.
