UPD has no leads in robbery, shooting

Police currently have no suspects, leads or possible motives in relation to a Wednesday morning shooting and robbery on College Avenue.

Michael Roberts, 223 S. College Ave., suffered a handgun wound to his right shoulder after suspects forcibly entered his house, shot and robbed him.

According to witness and police reports, four to five men carrying handguns knocked on the victim's door around 1:40 a.m. and forced their way into his house. One suspect then shot the victim, forced him and a friend downstairs into the basement and demanded money.

Witnesses described two suspects, one white male standing 5'11'' to 6'0" wearing all black and a mask, and one "possibly black" male, 6'1'' to 6'2'' wearing all gray and a mask. They were unable to provide descriptions of any other suspects involved.
