This user-friendly crime map allows readers to see Ball State University Police Department's crime log entries, which are updated daily. Users can click on each marker below to view the case number, the time, date and location each incident was reported and the listed offense.
Please note, this map will not include crime log entries for the Muncie Police Department unless UPD received the call or responded to the scene of the same incident, as well. Users should also be advised that each peg indicates where an incident was reported, and it does not necessarily mean it is the location where the crime occurred.
The Ball State Daily News is releasing this map to help improve transparency, and we hope our readers can also use this map to stay informed about different incidents in their area.
