SGA executive slate elections calendar begins

The Student Government Association executive slate election process began Friday.

Starting Friday afternoon, packets with information and applications to run as an SGA executive slate were available online.

From here, events for candidates to interact with and campaign to the student body begin in February:


Nomination Convention

  • When: Feb. 12 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: Art and Journalism Building room 175

Open campaigning

  • When: Begins after the close of the Nomination Convention

Presidential and Vice Presidential Debate

  • When: Feb. 15 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: Art and Journalism building room 175

All Slate Debate

  • When: Feb. 18 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: L.A. Pittenger Student Center in Cardinal halls A, B and C

Presidential Town Hall Debate

  • When: Feb. 21 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: Art and Journalism Building room 175

Voting Begins

  • When: Feb. 26 at 8 a.m.
  • Where: Online, link sent in campus-wide email

Winners announced

  • When: Feb. 27 after 5 p.m.
  • Where: L.A. Pittenger Student Center, Office of Student Life
