Ball State University police now have a person of interest regarding the vandalism of Lucina Hall.

Police are investigating after several broken windows were found outside the building on Sunday morning.

As of right now, the incident is still under investigation. University police are reviewing all the evidence and vice president of marketing and communications Kathy Wolf says it appears that a combination of factors, including "personal force," were used to break the windows.

Police were called on reports of broken glass, and UPD cleared and searched the building early Sunday morning. Wolf said police are seeking the public's help in identifying this person of interest.

"Anyone having information regarding this subject should contact Ball State University Detectives with any information they may have regarding the subject’s name, contact information, or whereabouts," Wolf said. "The Ball State University Police Department greatly appreciates any and all assistance the public can give."

Parts of Lucina Hall do have surveillance, and that is part of the evidence police are looking into, Wolf added. A university facilities team is still assessing the damage.

Anyone with information can call Detective Hurst (765-285-5874), the Ball State University Police Department Dispatch (765-285-1111), or e-mail information to Police@bsu.edu.
