Ball State's incoming president is preparing for his move to Muncie.
The outgoing Northern Kentucky University President Geoffery S. Mearns put his 100-year-old house on the market for $920,000 on Tuesday, according to Fort Thomas, Kentucky, retail listings.
Mearns' Southern Colonial-style home was built by renowned architect Samuel Hannaford, who designed Cincinnati Music Hall and City Hall.

Once at Ball State, Mearns will move into the newly renovated Bracken House in Muncie's historic Westwood neighborhood. Although it's unknown when Mearns will make the move to Muncie, he's slated to start his tenure as president on May 15.
