Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and Indiana Governor Mike Pence spoke at a rally in Westfield, Indiana, tonight with speculation that Trump could name Pence as his vice president.

There was no announcement, but the possibility is still there. Near the end of the rally, Trump said the people of Indiana will call Pence to let Trump know the United States is winning too much.

“I often joke you will be calling up Mike Pence. I don’t know whether he is going to be your governor or vice president — who the hell knows,” Trump said. “You’re going to call him and you will either say governor or vice president, sir, please speak to Mr. Trump; we are winning too much."

According to CNN, Pence and former house speaker Newt Gingrich are the front-runners on Trump's list to be possible running mates.

Before Trump spoke at the rally, Pence told the crowd the country is ready to put Trump in office because "Donald Trump gets it, Donald Trump hears the voice of the American people, and he has been successful on Wall Street but has never turned his back on Mainstreet."

He also bragged about Indiana, claiming the state has more people working than it ever has in its 200-year history.

The Indiana governor also took jabs at presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders' endorsement of Clinton.

"I hear Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary. I actually served with him, and he is the nicest socialist I have served with in Washington, D.C.," Pence said.

Trump took the stage following Pence and asked the crowd, "How is your governor doing by the way? Good? I think so, I think so." The presidential candidate shortly followed up with, "Indiana was the state that put me over the top [in the Republican primary]".

The killing of five police officers in Dallas during a Black Lives Matter protest and the victims in officer-involved shootings was also a topic during the rally.

“The hostility against our police has to end, and it has to end right now,” Trump said.

The presidential candidate said it was hard to watch the killing of Minnesota's Philando Castile and Louisiana's Alton Sterling.

"We have to figure out what's going on," he said. "Was it training? Was it something else? It could have been something else."

The candidate told the crowd we have to take care of everybody, and he is "the law and order candidate."

Trump shared his plan to tax companies that move out of the country, citing Carrier, a company that makes heating and air conditioning equipment that plans to move to Mexico over the next three years, as an example.

The candidate said all Carrier products coming into the country will face a 35 percent tax.

A border wall between Mexico and the United States is still one of Trump's plans to stop people who are not Americans into the country.

The Republican candidate is expected to officially obtain the Republican nomination at the Republican National Convention on July 18-21, though some say he may make an announcement as early as Friday.
