Ball State track & field puts 10 on indoor academic All-MAC squad

Ball State’s 2015-16 Indoor Track & Field Academic All-MAC Selections:

Olivia Ashba - junior, psychological science (3.57)

Jessica Bryzek - sophomore, biology (3.66)

Danielle Dahl - senior, exercise science (3.21)

Michaela Hull - senior, exercise science (3.84)

Becca Kropf - senior, Dietetics (3.38)

Marie Lumpkin - senior, elementary education (3.69)

Gabrielle Perryman - junior, athletic training (3.55)

Ericka Rinehart - junior, nursing (3.69)

Gabby Sims - sophomore, elementary education (3.80)

Anna-Kay West - sophomore, chemistry (3.46)

The Ball State women's track and field team had 10 players named to the Women's Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Mid-American Conference team.

A cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 and participation in at least half of the contests are the minimum requirements for student-athletes to qualify. 

Sophomores Jessica Bryzek and Ericka Rinehart won their second academic awards this season, as they were both named 2015 Academic All-MAC Cross Country as well. Juniors Olivia Ashba and Gabrielle Perryman, along with seniors Michaela Hull and Marie Lumpking, return Academic All-MAC honors for the third time in their careers.

The list of first-timers includes: seniors Danielle Dahl and Becca Kropf, along with sophomores Gabby Sims and Anna-Kay West.

Ball State will travel on April 2 to Oxford, Ohio, for the Miami Invitational.
