University police arrested a man Thursday morning after he was deemed a suspect of an on-campus robbery .
Suspect William Hilterbran, 22, was arrested on charges of robbery, strangulation and battery. The victim was a Ball State student. The summary said the battery resulted in no or minor injuries.
According to the case summary provided by University Police Department, the incident occurred at 1700 W. Ashland Ave., which is near the McKinley parking garage and Village Green Records, at the corner of Ashland and Martin streets.
Hilterbran was booked into the Delaware County jail Thursday afternoon on a $30,000 bond.
