MEN'S BASKETBALL: Ball State comes from behind to defeat Bethune-Cookman

The Ball State men’s basketball team won its second consecutive game, coming from behind to defeat Bethune-Cookman 51-48 at Worthen Arena Saturday.

Freshman Sean Sellers finished with a team-high 12 points for Ball State, who shot 31.8 percent from the field as a team. Freshman guard Francis Kiapway was the only other Cardinal in double figures, scoring 10 points.

Bethune-Cookman outrebounded Ball State 33-31, with both teams grabbing nine offensive boards. Forward Franko House led the Cardinals with seven rebounds, while Sellers and fifth-year senior Matt Kamieniecki each added five.

At halftime, Ball State trailed 27-20, but outscored Bethune-Cookman by 10 in the second half to come away with the three-point win.
