Take hold of the spontaneous moments

After Fun. left the stage Friday night and we all awaited the band’s encore, the audience started its usual Chirp. That’s when it hit me: This is what college is all about.

Too often in sports journalism, I feel like the brash, hard-hitting, expletive-filled head coaches get the mass amounts of coverage and media exposure.

The longer you live in a city, the smaller it gets. Whether you just get to know the area or you’re stuck in a routine of traveling from home to work and work to home, your surroundings tend to close in on you.
Nothing in this world can truly define a love-hate relationship like a “Best Albums of the Year” list. Some choices may make you triumphantly clench your fist in the air, but some choices may leave you angry.
