We are starting to see those fall-like temperatures move into the forecast. Low tonight of 56 degrees, which about on average for the beginning of September. Tomorrow a high of 82 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Another beautiful day to get outside and mow the lawn or do some homework outside! Wednesday has a chance of scattered showers throughout the day with overcast skies. To end the end week, highs in the mid-70s with sunny skies. If you are heading out to watch Ball State take on Eastern Kentucky, you may want to bring an umbrella since there is a high chance of storms. Our high today only got to around 62 degrees, a little bit below average for the end of April. This is due to the low pressure system moving through the our area and also bringing along those rain showers. these showers will continue throughout the night and reach a low of 52. These storm chances will continue into tomorrow as well, with a high of 59. Mostly cloudy skies to start our your weekend on Friday. The rest of the weekend looks like to be rain as well. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - It is officially spring, but still feeling like winter as we did see some snow this past weekend. We do see this low pressure system moving through the next few days bringing rainy conditions and with the jet stream staying south, keeping us pretty cool. Low tonight of 22 degrees with overcast skies and some possible flurries. Now tomorrow morning from 2AM to 9AM we do have a freeze warning out. This means if you do have an early commute to class or work to keep bundled up with temperatures in the 20s. Also if you do have any plants to keep them covered or bring them indoors. High tomorrow of 46 with mostly sunny skies. Warmer temperatures come into the forecast on Wednesday with a high of 60, but rain chances start in the afternoon. These will be here to stay for the next few days, but could be a mix of snow and rain. A dramatic cool down for the weekend with highs in the 30s, but the rain does move out. This includes efforts by the National Weather Service to create partnerships with different businesses, emergency personal, media, and the public in order to create a nation of severe weather prepared citizens. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - Cooler temperatures to start out spring, but we can expect a warm up this week. Tomorrow expect highs close to 60, but high winds near 25mph as well. Gusts could be in between 30-40mph. Wednesday we have a small chance of rain as a low pressure system does move through Indiana. Thunderstorm chances are looking likely Wednesday evening into Thursday afternoon. Along with these storms we do see a cool down for Friday with highs only in the mid 40s. Easter weekend looks like it will be warm and sunny for any Easter egg hunts you have planned. Highs in the 60s on Saturday and in the 50s for Sunday. Showers possible as we start out next week. We have had just about every season recently and that's not going to stop now. Rain and snow chances in the forecast for tomorrow. The switch should happen around 6-7pm and the storm itself should move out around midnight. A cold front will move through with this storm as highs the rest of the week will be in the mid-30s. Snow chances are in the forecast as well for Thursday and Saturday before we see warmer temperatures in the forecast for the end of the weekend. High on Sunday should be around 50 degrees. To start out next week, temperatures should be in the high 50s to low 60s. MUNCIE,IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- We are coming off a very snowy Valentine's Day. Luckily we are looking at a warm up this week, which means that snow should be gone by the end of the week. Expect a low tonight of 23 with overcast skies. Patchy fog can be expected again during the early morning hours. Tomorrow's high should be around 35 degrees with cloudy skies. Wind should stay calm or up to 5mph the rest of the week. We are looking at some slight snow chances Wednesday morning and evening. These should just be flurries and low accumulation possible. As we take a look into the weekend, highs in the 50s! Rain chances are possible on Friday. For Saturday and Sunday we can expect clear skies and should be a beautiful weekend! MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good evening! Mild temperatures and almost record breaking coming out of the weekend. Expect a low around the freezing point at 32. Tomorrow's high should be around 57 with thunderstorm chances. Early morning classes and early afternoon should be clear. We will have around a 40% chance of rain around 3pm and storms really start to move in around 6pm. With these storms, we are seeing a possibility of high winds around 25mph with wind gusts possibly reaching 40mph. Overnight totals of rain could reach anywhere from a half an inch to an inch and a half. Low tomorrow night should only reach 43 degrees. We will see a cool down come Thursday and stay through Friday. On the brighter side, the weekend highs look to be in the low to mid 40s. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good evening! We had some great, warm temperatures for the beginning of November today. These will not stay for long as we do have rain chances coming up in the forecast. Expect these rain chances to start Tuesday and stay until Wednesday Evening. With these rain showers moving through, we will be seeing some cooler temperatures as well. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good evening! We had a very warm day hitting the seventy mark for this second day in November. It looks like these warmer temperatures will be here to stay for a few days, until around Thursday. As we look towards the end of the week, our best chance for rain will be Friday. With this rain coming through, we will see normal cooler temperatures come back into the forecast.
