Internet Explorer will no longer be apart of the Internet world. After many hints from Microsoft about withdrawing the software, the company has confirmed that there will no longer be an Internet Explorer.
The company’s marketing chief, Chris Capossela, did mention that the company is currently working on a new brand and name.
“We’re now researching what the new brand, or the new name, for our browser should be in Windows 10,” shared Capossela. “We’ll continue to have Internet Explorer, but we’ll also have a new browser called Project Spartan which is codenamed Project Spartan. We have to name the thing.”
Although Internet Explorer will still exist in some of the versions of Windows 10, Project Spartan will be the new primary software for it.
Microsoft has tried numerous times to move away from the negative image Internet Explorer 6 brought to the company and hopes Project Spartan will help bring fans back.
