MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- TGIF! I am weather forecaster Caleb Saylor. We have had unseasonably warm temperatures this past week with highs hovering around 80 degrees. We will see a temperature drop thanks to a system located in the southeast United States moving into our area over the weekend. This system is going to bring with it cloudy skies on Saturday and Sunday, with the possibility of rain Saturday afternoon. Sunday evening there will be a Supermoon Lunar Eclipse, with a maximum eclipse occurring around 10:47pm and we should have relatively clear skies for that event! After that system moves out we will see a couple days of warmer weather, highs in the upper 70s and the low 80s, but another system will start to make its way east into our area on Wednesday, which will keep us cooler and we'll see generally cloudy skies with the chance of rain. Thanks for logging on to NewsLink Indiana, and make sure to follow us on twitter at @NLIWeather, and like us on Facebook.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- The Ball State Cardinals are on the road for one more weekend as they travel to Evanston, Illinois to take on the Northwestern Wildcats. The forecast for the day is looking pretty nice, especially early on. Partly Sunny skies and mild temps will dominate the region, as an ENE wind off of Lake Michigan will help to keep temperatures mild, even as we head into the overnight. Some more clouds will pop up around the region after kick off, with skies becoming every more cloudy as the evening goes on. The winds coming off the lake could also get a little gusty at times, leading us to leave breezy winds in the forecast for the game. For full details please see the video above.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good Evening and happy Thursday to you! We saw another warm sunny day across the region with highs in the lower 80's. Muncie officially saw a high of 81 today. For your overnight hours, we are going to continue to see clear skies but warmer temperatures from what we have seen. Lows will reach in the mid 50's tonight. The high pressure that has been dominating the Midwest is slowly moving out allowing way for a low pressure system that will enhance our chances of rain for the weekend . On Saturday look for scattered showers with highs in mid 70's, however not everyone will see rain. Sunday should be a little bit drier with highs also in the mid 70's. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- It was our first day of fall, but it certainly didn't feel like it. We got up to a high of 80 here in Muncie today which above our average of 74 for this time of year. With the first day of fall we also have some slight changes in our forecast. Thursday and Friday will be a lot like today with sunny conditions, but come Saturday some moisture will start to move in early in the morning that could bring some isolated showers to our area. Isolated showers will occur in the morning Saturday, but then conditions will remain mostly cloudy throughout the rest of the day into Sunday. Once the next work week comes around we will see sunny skies and a warm up return.

Some clouds will work their way into the region for Friday through Sunday, but no real chance for rain will appear. A slight chance for rain will pop up on Monday, but after that the mostly sunny skies will return and our temps will rise into the low 80s. Enjoy this great forecast Ball State!

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are enjoying your start to the weekend. Like most of us we have dealt with rain this morning. As the day progressed the cold front had moved through, but we are not out of the woods yet. More rain is expected to continue through tonight until tomorrow. The cold front should be gone by mid day tomorrow, but still be prepared by bringing your umbrellas and rain jackets! When the cold front moves out it makes way for a beautiful sunny day on Sunday with highs in the low 70s. Your week starts off with sunny skies and lower temperatures. For continuous weather updates check us out on Twitter @NLIWeather.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- If you were up early this morning, you probably saw some rain showers and heard a bit of thunder. All of this ended around noon time, but it will be short lived. We have a weather system moving through late Friday night through the Saturday noon hour bringing with it rain showers and the possibility of thunderstorms. These are not expected to be severe. Sunday through Thursday will be very similar to this past week and temperatures drop to the low 70s during the day, but by the end of the week will work their way up to the upper 70s and 80 degrees is not out of the question.

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- The Cardinals are continuing their road trip this weekend as they travel up to Ypsilanti, Michigan to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles. The bad news for anyone hoping to join them on the road is, you will also need to pack an umbrella in that road gear. Rain showers and storms will be around Friday night and into Saturday, with scattered rain showers likely lingering into the game time. We expect temperatures to be in the 60s for the drive up Saturday morning, but eventually warm up to near 68 by kickoff. Other than the possible wet conditions affecting the game, we are also expecting winds to be from the NW in the 10 to 20 mph range, with some wind gusts over 20 mph to be possible. This type of wind could certainly have an impact on the kicking game Saturday. There is still some uncertainty with the timing on the cold front, and the exact timing of the rain for Saturday, but I would not want to make this trip without plan to stay dry! GO CARDINALS!
