Muncie, IN (NewsLink Indiana)-- Rain showers and fall temperatures moving in to close out this week. As these showers roll through, temperatures will only be in the mid to upper-60s. There will be some isolated showers tomorrow throughout the day with a high of 64 and a low of 50. If you are heading out to the Ball State football game on Saturday bring a jacket and an umbrella as we are expecting a high around 70 with rainy conditions. However, next week brings with it warmer temperatures possibly reaching temperatures in the 80s with clear skies.

Rain showers and fall temperatures moved through Muncie this morning. Those showers pushed through to the east and brought beautiful sunny skies. Another gorgeous day in store tomorrow with highs in the low-70s. Rain showers come back into the forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend. As these showers roll through, temperatures will only be in the low to mid-60s. It's the second day of Fall, but it sure does not feel like it out there with temperatures skyrocketing into the upper 80s. Today's high is expected to reach 88 degrees, which is close to the record high temperature of 90 degrees set back in 1970. Our first chance for some rain and thunderstorms will come Monday for the start of the work week. Temperatures will begin to fall as well as an upper level trough will move eastward bringing our area more cooler and drier temperatures. Highs for next week are not looking to exceed the mid-70s. Fall-like weather is coming!

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Those warmer temperatures that have been around for the past few days are going to be sticking around for a bit longer. On Friday, temperatures are going to remain in the upper 80s with nothing but sunshine. On Saturday and Sunday, highs will stick around in the lower-to-mid 80s with a few more clouds in the sky, but nothing in terms to take away lots of sunshine! A cold front will move into the area beginning late on Sunday night and into the early hours of Monday, which will come with some rain chances as well. Our best chances to see some rain will come during the afternoon on Monday and continue into the morning and afternoon hours of Tuesday. But temperatures are going to start to go down on Monday with highs near 80, followed by highs in the mid-to-upper 70s for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Warmer temperatures are going to stick around for the next few days as a dome of high pressure is locked over our area. Thursday and Friday temperatures are going to remain in the mid to upper 80s with plenty of sun in the sky. Saturday and Sunday we will see temperatures drop a bit and a few more clouds will begin to work their way in. This cloud cover is ahead of a cold front that is going to begin to make its way through our area on Sunday night. This will bring us a rain chance for Sunday night, but the best chance for rain and a few thunderstorms is going to be in place throughout the day on Monday. The rain and thunderstorm chance is going to hang around on Tuesday, with the best chance coming in the morning hours and through the early afternoon. Fortunately for us, we will get a break from the warm temperatures starting Monday, when temperatures will be in the mid 70s and Tuesday's high temperature will be near 70 degrees. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - We do have great weather for this week with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. Due to the warmer temperatures and the lack of clouds Madison and Delaware County are under an air quality alert. This can be unhealthy for people who are sensitive, so please limit your time outside. This alert will continue for tomorrow. The afternoon high for tomorrow will be in mid 80s with mostly sunny skies with the low in the 60s. Thursday is the first day of fall, but temperatures will not be feeling like it is. Temperatures will remain in the mid 80s until Friday. Much more comfortable temperatures this weekend as fall temperatures arrive. The highs will be in the 70s with partly sunny skies. Muncie, IN (newslink Indiana)-- We have a great week ahead of us, with sunshine and clear skies taking over the week. For today, the high will reach 86 degrees with few clouds and a low of 61 degrees. Tomorrow and the rest of this week are looking fantastic. Temperatures will be in the upper 80's with some of those days possibly hitting 90 degrees. The dew point will be in the low 60's leaving perfect conditions to stay outdoors. There will be cooler temperatures that work there way into the weekend with highs in the lower 80's. Next week brings cooler temperatures along with some scattered showers for Tuesday. Recent clear weather will give way to a chance for showers late Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning. Showers are expected to clear out by Friday night, but return for the early overnight hours of Saturday. These showers are forecast to stick around for most of the day Saturday, which will likely affect the home Ball State football game. Make sure to pack your poncho or raincoat because it is likely to be rainy. Tonight's low is going to be a comfortable 69 degrees with clear skies and tomorrow is looking to reach a high of 82 degrees. Warm weather has been spoiling us the past several days locally here in Muncie. The trend will continue, but we will see rain return in our forecast starting Friday. A low pressure system will works its way through central Indiana starting Friday night heading into Saturday. This will bring scattered showers Friday evening, with rain continuing through much of Saturday. Friday morning and mid day will have warm conditions, with an afternoon high of 84 degrees. Family Weekend is also this weekend here at Ball State University. Saturday's rain will make the home football game a wet one, so plan accordingly! Tonight, skies will continue to remain clear with temperatures dropping down to 59 degrees. Friday is looking to be another great day before the rain chances return back to the forecast for the weekend. Friday expect mostly sunny skies with a a high of 84 degrees. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Good Wednesday evening! We saw just a few sprinkles this morning but those rain showers have moved into southern Indiana along with a cold front that has been located to our south the past couple days. Since that cold front is moving out we do expect clear skies overnight into Thursday and a gorgeous day for tomorrow. Expect highs into the upper 70s for Thursday with no rain chances to speak of. Friday however, rain chances move back into our area later on in the day. Friday will become warmer as we get on the back side of a high pressure system giving way to southerly winds bringing in more moisture and heat. Expect temperatures in the lower 80s with rain chances beginning in the early evening hours. For family weekend here at Ball State, Saturday does appear to be wet with highs in the upper 70s while Sunday expect a few showers in the morning but turning clear by midday as high pressure works in! MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - The temperatures that feel like the season of Fall have returned back to Muncie for at least the morning hours. Expect cooler mornings over the next seven days as morning lows will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Over the next three days the largest chance for precipitation will return back to the forecast for the daytime on Wednesday. These rain showers will be scattered and will likely occurring in the morning and late afternoon. Rainfall amounts are only expected to be around 0.02" in most locations. Once the cold front moves through on Wednesday, sunny skies will return back to the forecast until Saturday. Family Weekend is shaping up to be nice, however, rain chances return for Saturday. However, there is a chance for some possible showers throughout the day tomorrow with temperatures in the upper 70's. Overcast skies are going to stick around for Wednesday but a beautiful next couple of days are in store. Thursday and Friday are looking fantastic to get outside and enjoy the sun and warm weather with temperatures in the lower 80's. However, it's going to be a wet one for family weekend. Be sure to take an umbrella for Ball State's 1st home football game against eastern Kentucky with thunderstorms throughout the day. We are starting to see those fall-like temperatures move into the forecast. Low tonight of 56 degrees, which about on average for the beginning of September. Tomorrow a high of 82 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Another beautiful day to get outside and mow the lawn or do some homework outside! Wednesday has a chance of scattered showers throughout the day with overcast skies. To end the end week, highs in the mid-70s with sunny skies. MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana)- For the rest of tonight the temperature will drop to a low of 45 with clouds to start of the night then gradual clearing. Make sure to bring your umbrella if you are going out on Saturday, rain is making its way through and will bring the chance for thunderstorms. The high will be 58 with mostly cloudy skies. Sunday brings cloudy conditions with a high of 66 with the possibility of thunderstorms. On Monday we will see sunshine with a high of 63.
